Youth Arts Mentorship at Spadina Museum

Beginning December 7th at Spadina Museum, discover the vibrant voices of eight young Toronto artists under the mentorship of Saretta Khan. In a series of workshops, the youth artists explored various art techniques such as acrylics, texture painting, collaging, oil pastels, and mixed media. Their final project was to create expressive and meaningful mixed-media portrait collages which are now displayed on the lower level of the museum.

Celebrate the creativity, passion and stories of youth in a series of eight inspiring installations across the city at Toronto History Museum sites. These installations are produced under the Youth Arts Mentorship program, which empowers emerging talent to experience self-discovery and artistic expression through visual arts.
