Participate in a hands-on workshop and contribute your dreams and intentions to a growing tapestry entitled The Dream Weave, led by multidisciplinary artist Blessyl Buan drawing on Filipino weaving traditions.

Use markers, paint and sustainable materials, such as rice bags and dried palm, to express your hopes through hands-on creation. This workshop sets the stage for The Dream Weave to be unveiled as part of Nuit Blanche in North York as an evolving installation and living archive of collective vision and belonging.

Blessyl Buan is a Toronto-born multidisciplinary artist working in dance, painting and fibre. Rooted in her Filipino heritage and guided by kapwa — the interconnectedness of self, nature and the cosmos — her work explores cultural memory, healing and belonging.
