Details
Explore the trees and green spaces around the Agincourt branch with City of Toronto Urban Forestry staff. Take a guided neighborhood walk to learn how to identify local tree species and understand their role in the urban environment, from cultural connections to ecological benefits.
Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent/caregiver. Please note that the tour will start and end at the Agincourt library and will be guided by the City of Toronto Urban Forestry staff. There may be uneven, unpaved surfaces along the route outside and around the neighbourhood. Please dress and prepare accordingly for this outdoor program (e.g., hats, sunscreen, water, comfortable shoes).
This program takes place rain or shine. In the event of severe inclement weather, please register with the branch to be notified of an alternative date. Registration is required. Please contact the branch by phone or in person to register.
