We are excited to welcome Italian guest conductor Giovanni Pompeo, and welcome back one of the orchestra's favourite piano soloists, Anya Alexeyev, to present a program of maximum Romantic melody.

Anya stars as the soloist in an orchestral version of César Franck's luxurious Piano Quintet, and Maestro Pompeo will lead the orchestra in one of the most beloved Romantic works in the entire repertoire, Tchaikovsky's famous Serenade.
