In Klezmer, the fidl or violin isn't just a melody-hogging diva, in the traditional "fidl kapelye" (fiddle band), it can be a rhythm instrument too!

Join Jon Cannon, former member of the fiddle-heavy Klezmer ensemble Ezekiel's Wheels, for a workshop that will help you play your violin as a rhythm and chord support instrument in Klezmer and Klezmer-like music. Teaching will focus on violin, but all instruments are welcome.
