This is a big one. roam and Standard Time are proud to present the Canadian debuts of CARISTA and Richard Fribert, with vinyl support by roam DJs.

To celebrate the warm weather flowing in, this will be a proper p-a-r-t-y in every sense of the word. No live band. No breaks. But BIG dancing energy all the way through to keep our parties fresh for ya’ll each time.

That’s why we chose to invite CARISTA – a DJ where you don’t just hear her energy. Watch her Boiler Room, Dekmantel Ten, or AVA Festival sets, and you’ll feel her fire. How can you not dance your heart out when she’s up there guiding your movement like she does with SO much conviction and passion?

CARISTA’s musical approach remains rooted in soulful sounds with a bass-heavy, club focus. And her skills as a DJ…well we don’t want to spoil the surprise but playing B2B with Theo Parrish last year, earning a nomination for BBC Radio 1’s 2020 Essential Mix of the Year, and being on an all-star artist roster at Sounds Familiar should tell you all you need to know.

She’s a selector at the very peak of her craft.

Joining her on the bill is the rising star, Richard Fribert, a Swedish DJ based in Paris, known for his deep crates and wide-angle approach to dance music, landing him a recent residency at Paris’ beloved Djoon. Drawing heavily from rare ’80s global grooves, his sets move freely between balearic, boogie, disco, and new beat, folding in influences from bhangra, zouk, MPB, axé, Italo, electro, hip house and beyond.

It’s a real treat to have Richard on this same lineup. Somehow the stars aligned to bring you TWO inspiring, international acts in one night that sound so vastly different, which at the end of the day is always our intention:
