Enjoy Maren Boedeker's body of large-scale, mixed-media paintings grounded in intuitive perception and process. Drawing from sensory experiences - colours, landscapes, environments, fragments of sound, music, and voices – Maren approaches painting as a dialogue with the canvas, allowing each work to unfold through responsiveness rather than predetermined intention.

About the Artist Maren Boedeker is a Toronto-based artist who earned an MA in Fine Arts and Art Education from the University of Fine Arts Münster, Germany. She was awarded first place in the 'Art for Europe' exhibition, curated by the European Community, Brussels. Since moving to Toronto, Maren has participated in residency programs at the Museum of Contemporary Art and Collision Gallery. Maren is member of the Colour-and-Form-Society, has exhibited across Canada and Europe, including the European Community Brussels, the Museum of Contemporary Art Toronto, and her work is held in private and public collections.
