Christine Lavin

Details
Christine Lavin started her professional life in 1975, as a waitress and bread baker at the Caffe Lena in Saratoga Springs, New York.
This is where she met Dave Van Ronk who encouraged her to study guitar with him in the big city. She took his advice and became a singer songwriter, guitarist, recording artist, author and videographer.
Her latest solo album, On My Way to Hooterville, is her twenty-fifth album and includes 10 new songs and one re-worked song "Ramblin' Waltz". In it, she recalls her time in 1975 when she was an entourage driver for the first week of Bob Dylan's iconic Rolling Thunder Revue tour.
