Arts in the Parks: Arts in Summerlea Park

Enjoy a series of arts and cultural events connecting residents from Elms-Old Rexdale and surrounding, under-resourced neighbourhoods in North Etobicoke.

This arts workshop program, developed through community consultation, will focus on dance and rhythm as cultural practices that celebrate diverse cultural traditions through a shared form of creative expression. Community participants will also co-design and install an artist-led temporary public art installation.

These events will culminate in the Park Party, a large-scale celebration featuring live performances, free food, and arts activities.
